Help with rescued plant

I need help with this plant I just rescued. Google tells me it's a dwarf umbrella plant, which somebody else confirmed for me. However, it's super leggy, and someone also told me they've never ever seen one look like this.
It was left outside a derelict building for a couple of months before I decided to rescue it.
Does anybody have any tips on how to care for it ? Or how to bring it back to its former glory? Ideally without chopping it all down and starting again.
It will be ideally kept indoors.
Thanks all!

Keep it in the shade sheltered from wind, well-watered (moist not drowned!) and give a small quantity of plant food. Wait a few months until it starts to grow strongly, then you can prune it back and it should respond with new shoots lower down.

Worth a try.
