Topiary

I have a hankering for some topiary in my garden to add a bit of interest - not thinking of anything intricate but some simple balls planted.
I say simple but I think getting a good shape maybe beyond my skill set.
I want them to be sizeable - maybe 60 - 70cm in diameter - which I think it would be quite pricy. Anyone bought a smaller one and encouraged it to grow into the right shape?

You can buy wire netting frames for topiary. You let your bush grow into it and keep pruning back to the frame

Thanks. I may need to make myself a wire frame - the frames for 60cm balls are over £100! And I wanted a few. I'm wondering if I can build a hinged frame around a Pilates ball! Surprisingly few YouTube videos on the subject!😄
