We have this growing on the side of our patio. Google seems to think it’s a red viburnum but not 100% sure. Has small, white very sweet smelling flowers this time of year. Many thanks if you know what it is?

It's viburnum.

I don’t think it’s Viburnum tinus which has more oval leaves, and flowers Feb - April, in tighter domed clusters. But could be another species or even a variety of V tinus. Does it have berries?

I think it’s a viburnum x hillieri “Winton”. Thanks both.
