Ok to hack back fuschia?

I cut it back in spring and it’s gone wild and is squishing my peonies.

Will it do it any harm to give it a good cutting back now?

How about just taking out the offending branches and leaving the rest?

Start cuttings from the bit you cut off, plant them elsewhere where they have space to grow, and get rid of the original.

I went with cutting off the parts squishing over plants.
it’s as tall as me so I’m confident it’ll survive!
