So I bought a birdbox from the garden centre today. Nothing fancy, not too big or small. It is all wooden and the roof is tinted green. My DH put it up on our shed this afternoon, and it's facing north. Our garden is quite small, so we don't have the radius that some people recommend. I know it's probably too late this year as mating season is over, but how long do you reckon it'll take before birds start nesting in it?
