Tenderstem brocolli

I want to grow this. I've tried sowing Chiltern seeds brokali. The few seedlings that appeared are still only an inch high. Any recommendations for other seeds. I tried germination in greenhouse and direct in a bed.

When did you sow them? Brassicas tend to be slow growers.

Broccoli isn’t a quick grower. You usually sow it about now to harvest in the spring. This year has been dreadful for gardening, lots of things are slower/later than usual

April and then again in May

Been growing purple sprouting for years as is my favourite veg but was attracted to tender stem as supposed to crop much earlier.
