What is this that's all over my garden

I've never been able to identify this plant. It's mainly under my hedges. I've left most if it as the bees seem to love it but I do have to keep on top of it as it spreads. Can anyone please tell me what it is?

Do you mean the blue one? Granny’s bonnet or aquilegia. It’s lovely.

There are two. The taller one with flowers like witches bonnets is aquilegia, the shorter one is Hardy geranium/cranesbill. Based on personal experience, bees don't tend to get on with aquilegia. Both spread well, or they do in my garden anyway.

Yes that seems to be it thank you. One of my borders is absolutely full of it.

Love aqualegia.

So do I, spreads like mad but it’s pretty indestructible!

I can’t see the geranium?

I thought that was geranium foliage under the aquilegia. Maybe I was projecting as most of my garden is geraniums under aquilegia at the moment.

I think it’s still aquilegia. It looks like geranium, but if you zoom in, you can see the leaves are still divided into leaflets

I was agreeing, but I wasn't clear. Also the bees don't really go for my aquilegia, seem to much prefer the geranium, but there are many tasty bee treats aka self seeding and running riot in my garden.
