Can I improve my sorry looking lawn without using anything toxic? I dig up dandelions but there's a lot of clover and other weeds.

Can I keep weeds away from our drive's brick oaving without using anything toxic?

Thank you for any advice

Some advice says to kill weeds on your drive with boiling water and salt ; but some people say salt is not good to be running into the water table.

I just think our water comes from the water table doesn't it? Why would we use anything toxic if we could avoid it? Maybe that is very naïve.

You could learn to like the clover. It’s much better than grass at staying green in ad dry summer

I discovered on another thread yesterday that you can get rid of weeds from between paving stones with a thing like a small burner. Actually it might not have been a thread on here it might have been a Facebook gardening group I'm in. Looked like a good idea to try. I'm intending to give it a go I think (after I move to my new house with a decent sized garden).
