Rain and bulbs

I've recently planted lots of bulbs in big pots. Dahlias and lilies seem OK but my scadoxus bulbs are going mouldy. I have nowhere sheltered to keep them. They're not rotting, still firm. Just spots of mould.

Does it usually rain this much in May?! 🫠

Anything I can do?

How can you see the mould if you have planted them? Or are they a weirdly buld that you lay of he surface?

Are your pots raised up so they can drain freely? If not you could try that.
