One out of four ain’t bad

Planted four pumpkin seeds and only got one that sprouted. I don’t think one out of four is great. Where did I go wrong?
They were in the airing cupboard, all watered the same.

That's pretty poor if it's new/fresh seed.

It was, fresh this year.

How long have you given them? They might still hatch out?

My courgettes this year, got 2 plants from 2 seed packs, never happened to me before

I think it’s been a couple of weeks, the one that’s grown has gone outside today.
