Hi all,
I have two planters made of wood as seen in the image. I want to sort them over the weekend and I've watched a few DIY videos which eother paint the inside walls with bitumen. Others simply tack a lining to the inner walls and others don't treat or line the planter.
Q 1) What is best practice to prepare for filling?
Q 2) Any suggestions for low maintenance plants and shrubs/bushes to place into the planter would be fantastic as I'm a complete novice!
Q 3) Would you fill with a mixture of compost and soil or otherwise?
