Does anyone do garden maintenance as a job?

I’ve been doing some mowing, weeding, pruning etc for my mum and her elderly neighbours. I love it. I’ve always tended my
own garden but it got me thinking, could I do this as a job? They all complain of unreliable tradesmen who don’t turn up and gardeners who, understandably, want to do more plant based work. I don’t need to earn much.

What knowledge would I need? Has anyone else done similar?

Yes, you can do it as a job, and earn a reasonable living from it. ExH did it for a while. The only problem is the drop in earnings in the winter months when there's not much to do.

You might need some sort of liability or accident insurance.
