I need a good and durable hose

I have got through a huge number of hoses and am yet to find one that is near to perfection. I'm looking for recommendations for a durable long hose

An opportunity like this doesn't come up every day so I have to ask, what's your criteria for perfection? Particular girth? length? Do you want one that squirts? Do you want a hard or floppy one?

We've had ours for so long I'm not sure what it is but probably hozelock (that's what the fittings are) on a reel. It's long enough for a reasonable sized garden/round to the front drive for car washing. I think we got it not long after we moved here in 1995 so pretty durable!
The game changer was getting metal rather than plastic connectors for it, much more durable and non leaky.

I can't help with garden equipment, just came to see why you need a good and durable horse
