Hellebore spots?!

Hi all, I posted recently about black spot on my roses. I have just got them stripped of all the diseased leaves and they don’t look as horribly bare as I’d feared. But now tonight I’ve noticed some spots on my favourite hellebore. Thought it looked like black spot. Googled and got horrified by “hellebore Black Death”. But the leaves don’t look affected? Any ideas?

Hopeful bump 🙏

No idea. But I’d probably put it down to part of the normal death process of the bracts

@MereDintofPandiculation thank you! So just leave it be?

Yes agree with pp that the flowers are just starting to die back now. You can deadhead them and also remove any scruffy leaves as well.

@TheGirlattheBack thanks so much! I was horrified at the “hellebore Black Death” saying the plant needed to be dug up immediately, so sinister! But I didn’t think it looked to be that. Many thanks both for your advice!
