Hyacinth bulbs

I've discovered forgotten hyacinth bulbs this spring and planted them in February-March which is of course too late and now they grow but won't bloom. Is it worth leaving it to wilt and digging up the bulbs for next year, or have I ruined them completely?

I would just leave them in place. I've found hyacinths can sometimes naturalise, although they don't give as many flowers, the flowerheads become more sparse and natural looking.
