Bedding plants for shady patio

Off to the garden centre today, along with the rest of the UK 😁what bedding plants will survive in pots on a patio which gets a couple of hours of sun in the morning, but then is in shade for most of the day? I’ve previously put geraniums there but they’ve always struggled a bit. Any recommendations?

I’ve found begonias do well, and heucheras, but watch out for vine weevil.

Spider plants! My houseplant had produced a load of babies one year, so I inserted them in the containers I'd already planted up. They grew like crazy and looked really good.
