Just had a bulk bag of mushroom compost delivered and have been trying to use it in the garden but it seems to be completely infested with little biting flies and I now have really itchy bites all over my upper body.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal for mushroom compost? I am wondering if I should complain or if I can do anything to get rid of them? I have only moved 1 tenth of the bag and can't bear to move any more and get further bites.
