New Rose quavering between life and death

Bought in Feb - planted in pot, the rose is still in bare root form after its two brothers have sprouted leaves merrily in their pots.

I’m desperate to end its suffering but whenever I check, the twigs are green inside. Kill or cure?

It's difficult to kill roses. If it's still green inside it's still alive... just give it time.

Thank you so much! I’ve grumpily put it to
the back of my spring ‘display’ (arf) but it’s still got decent light.

Be patient. It probably still thinks it is winter. It has been freezing out there.

Dealing with the same issue. I have 4 new bare root roses and they are all doing well except this one, green stems but no sign of life. I am going to contact David Austin for advice as its their rose.

It’s a blue rose, pale lilac one hopes, called Blue Moon. I think.

I got a Blue Moon climber that has done nothing! It was potted on from a garden centre but when I tipped it out the soil just all fell away. It hasn’t grown at all but the ones left at the garden centre in their pots have grown loads. What have I done wrong!

Still no action on Blue Moon here either.

All other plants explosive, lovely.

You have to hold your nerve for at least the first year while it gets established. Same with fruit trees, patience is key
