Stones in borders

Are these good or should I remove them?

They’re neither good nor bad. They can be an inconvenience. If I come across anything more than fist sized I either chuck it on an area where I’m trying to raise the ground level, or if big enough add it to the pebbles on my grass border. I don’t make any special effort to dig them up.
