Plant identification

Hey, can anybody tell me what this is? It's growing in a lot of my pots so I'm guessing weed/wildflower.

Epilobium, willowherb. Seeds around easily and spreads by runners., small pale pink flowers.

I always pull these up, appear randomly in the garden along with dandelions and clover. I assumed they were weeds. Aren’t they?

Willowherb is the bane of my (gardening) life. This year it's especially rampant. I'm on a mission to eradicate it 😂

I can't believe Willowherb seeds are being sold on eBay! Maybe I'm missing a trick here, though I don't think I could knowingly profit from people sowing this weed 😬

A weed is simply a plant you don’t want growing where it is. So a grass in a lawn may be very much wanted, but the same grass may be regarded as a weed when it strays into a flower bed. There’s a current thread with people praising Alchemilla mollis, but I regard it as a weed, conversely, Tellima grandiflora, which I grow under my medlar tree, was described as a weed by another poster.

Not lesser hairy - it’s not hairy! But one of the small-flowered willowherbs, need to look at the stigma to see which.

Thank you all. Its invaded virtually all of my pots, so I will have to pull it out and start again.
