So ashamed to post this!

Plant has been in my living room - room has a wood burner so gets very warm.

Husband wants to bin, but is there any chance it can be saved?

There’s still green on it so I’d say yes! Get rid of all the dead leaves, makes sure it’s had a drink and pop it on a sunny windowsill.

I’d probably trim down that taller stem as well so all the energy is going into new growth (but don’t really know what I’m doing either to be honest 😝)

You can save that I am sure, cut off dead leaves move to a cooler window sill, don’t over water. Good luck.

Difficult to tell from the photo, how damp is the compost?

Lovethistimeofyear · 20/04/2024 17:11

I’ve watered it but it was very dry before

I think it's possible. Trim the dead leaves, maybe put it in some fresh compost and give it a good water. I'm always amazed at how some things I thought were completely dead managed to come back!

Ok I’ve taken away all the brown leaves, watered it and it’s on the kitchen window sill. A much cooler room
