Anyone got potato vines?

A friend planted a potato vine last year and it grew very tall up a tree, with beautiful white flowers which lasted a few months.
I'm thinking of planting some, but has to be along a fence.
If you are familiar with potato vine, would recommend it?
I've got two long fences to cover, and was thinking star jasmine for the other one, although much more slow growing than potato vine.

I bought two in spring 22. One is now huge at least 10ft tall and 6ft wide. It's on a south facing wall but due to the position of our house it doesn't get sun all day. The other flowered, withered and died. That one was planted in full sun. So if you get a good one and it likes where you put it they're great plants.
