Alternative to roundup gel?

My yearly battle with creeping buttercup has started, but this year it's got a serious advantage... I hear the Roundup gel has been discontinued?! I can't find it anywhere!

Can anyone recommend an alternative? I daren't use a spray weedkiller as it's in a bed with lots of plants that I don't want to lose. I can't keep up with digging it out and lots of it is in amongst the roots of other flowers (I especially loathe it's tendency to hide amongst hardy geraniums whose leaves look almost identical this time of year). The gel was my ultimate weapon in the past - what do I do now?!

Get concentrated glyphosate and mix it in a jar with ready made wallpaper paste. I brush it on with a 1/2 inch paint brush. I put a stone on any bits treated that may touch plants I want to keep

s Here's the one. I've also tried putting the weed in a snap lock bag to isolate it, closing it at the bottom then ripping the top open and treated the plant, also tried using a paint brush - it's quite tricky to paint flimsy leaves.

Round-up has been discontinued because it's been linked to non Hodgkin lymphoma so I wouldn't be trying to find other forms if glyphosate to replace it. Quite honestly you're better off with creeping buttercup IMO.

I should say, I don't know if that's the reason this gel has been discontinued. It could be other commercial reasons but the law suits are rolling in.

It was a nuisance when they discontinued it - only thing that was starting to work (after many years of trying other things) on the ground elder growing up the middle of a multi-stemmed shrub in my garden.

I used to buy it from Amazon - but found that a lot of it had evaporated - I suspect the packaging wasn't robust enough for such a strong chemical. Treating one plant individually is much better than a general spray.

Plastic bottle cut in half, isolate the weed in the bottle and spray inside the bottle. Milk 4pts bottle work well as the have a handle to help you hold it down into the soil.

Thank you, some really good ideas here!
