Clematis Recommendations

I have a few clematis in my garden, none of them seem to flower.
I'm fairly sure that's something to do with my neglect, but nevertheless I love the foliage coverage they give all year round.

Can anyone recommend another evergreen one for me?
I've got about 2 m of bare north/NW facing fence to cover. Although it's north facing it's a very bright and sunny spot.
Plus about 4 m of south facing wall (very hot & sunny - no shade apart from at the base) could put a different climber on here, or a vine?

I have the chocolate vine & armandii which don't really flower but look great, lots of dense healthy foliage which I keep in check, and Montana which does flower beautifully but looks crap 60% of the year and has stayed fairly straggly & small compared to the other 2 mentioned.

Clematis 'Freckles' is on my wishlist as it's winter flowering:

I've got the clematis cirrhosa on a fence near the house. It is indeed evergreen, vigorous and produces very nice flowers from about Oct/November through to end Feb (we're in a hot little London garden.). Like all clematis, it enjoys plenty of water and a good feed. It will give you a fright in August when it looks like it's dead, but this is just the resting period before it puts on growth again for the autumn and winter budding/flowering. It's a goodie! Bees also love it.

I've just bought an 'avalanche'. Very pretty and flowering now. Hopefully it will grow bigger and flourish! 🤞
