Ranunculus soaking dilemma

TheBunyip · 08/04/2024 12:38

I put them in this morning to soak with a view to potting up later

my biodegradable pots have biodegraded over the winter. Can’t get anywhere to buy any today. I have some being delivered tomorrow

is it better to let them soak for 24rs plus or take them out now and re soak?

I’ve not grown them before

I'd leave them. I've forgotten them in water before to no apparent ill effect.

They won't be harmed in that short time, but if you're worried, or if your delivery is delayed you could always plant them in a tray or other pots so it gets them out of the water and then plant them into the recycled ones at the weekend if you can be bothered Grin

ah thanks both, i did leave them in a bit of water and eagerly awaiting the amazon delivery whilst eyeing up cups, loo rolls and anything else i can use. 've got 100 of the buggers.
