Does anyone know what the nylon mesh was that the Hosta obsessed couple recommended for the bottom of their pots to deter slugs?

We are overrun with slugs and snails do thought this might be useful although we have had a rather cute hedgehog move in last Summer so hopefully he will help keep out a little in that direction Wink

I assumed it was some sort of insect netting.

I think he said it was windbreak netting but he also said material from tights would work.

I've used the little nets you get garlic in. Also, the veg bags you buy in supermarkets for about 30p, cut on up and use it. I pt a bit of gravel on it so it doesn't clog.
