Caring for rubber plants

Hi there.

I was recently given these 2 amazing 7ft tall rubber plants after a neighbour sadly passed away. By the looks of it they are in very little, old soil and we’re bone dry when I got them. The plant on the right is very healthy looking. On the left there’s some browning/yellowing to the leaves.

They’ve since had a good drink but I want to ensure I give them the best to ensure they thrive as best as possible. I was thinking of replanting them into a bigger pot with some fresh new soil and watering only when the top 2-3” soil are dry.

Any advice on pot sizes, watering habits and general suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Greg

Are they rubber plants? I can remember we had them in the seventies but I don't remember them looking like those?
