I bought this a few weeks ago. I put it in a pot. The pot size is fine. Fitted in nicely. Room around the roots etc but not much. . but it is starting to have yellow leaves. Am I right in thinking that the drainage may not be enough? It can go in the ground if needed. But wanted the ability to move if I needed it to.

As long as there are drainage holes at the bottom of the pot, then it won't be a drainage issue. It is common for evergreens to lose their oldest leaves periodically anyway.

What soil / compost did you use?

I just used normal compost I had at home. Should I have used a different one?
