When to uncover rose cuttings?

I took some rose cuttings last year which appear to have taken. They are in a pot covered by a plastic bag. When can I take the bag off do you think?
A few people commented when I posted for advice last year - they were from an old farm which has now been demolished for a new housing development. My elderly neighbour (now in residential care) tenanted this farm years ago and I want to be able to pass a plant on to her daughter.

If they’re actively growing, start by opening the bag up, so they’re protected round the side but open at the top.

I wait until roots are coming through the hole in the bottom of the pot before trying to pot them uo.

@MereDintofPandiculation so pleased you answered. You helped me with my original post but didn't know how to tag you in this - thank you. Looks like I've got 4 going 😊

If you put @ followed by the user name it works. But you have to get the username right, with all the capitals. It’s not as easy as when they’ve already posted in the thread and the name comes up for you automatically after you’ve typed a few letters.

@MereDintofPandiculation oh it was the capitals I was missing!

@MereDintofPandiculation are you there? Sorry to bother you - these rises are growing but the new leaves are really soft and thin. Any more advice please? This is how I've had them covered because I didn't have anything else more suitable. I've taken it off in the day the past 2 days

New leaves usually are thin, they get leathery later. Next step is to start taking the cover away at night. Check your forecast night time temperatures.

Those look as if they are doing nicely. Any roots showing through the bottom yet?

@MereDintofPandiculation no roots showing as yet. I'm going on holiday on Saturday so I'm going to have to pass on the caring responsibility to my brother 😊.
Braving it tonight and leaving them uncovered.
