The Wildlife Trust have a petition for sugar grown with neonicotinoids to be labelled as such. This chemical has been in the headlines for being highly toxic to bees and is usually banned. The toxin acts on the nervous system and I'm not aware of any research showing it is definitely safe for humans to eat either, happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. I personally don't want to buy/eat anything linked to it so thought others might feel the same. Link to sign here:
