Mushrooms in grass!

Can anyone identify what kind of mushrooms these are and if they will be harmful if my kids touch them? I've found a few growing in my lawn!

Please don't let anyone on the internet try and identify them or say they are okay. A lot of fungi are extremely difficult to identify if you are not an authority on the matter, and you really can't do it from a photo.

Don't take any chances, and this is probably a good time to explain to your children that if you say 'don't touch', then you really mean it, and for a good reason.

Touching mushrooms won't harm you. Eating some of them is a different matter of course.
