Cut flower garden recommendations

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some suggestions for plants for a small cut flower garden. I have two raised beds and one will have some Dahlias, sweet peas and cosmos in as these are my favourites and I couldnt be without them. I'm looking for ideas for a few plants that don't take up much space but give lots of flowers that I can get going from seed. I live in the Scottish Highlands and the raised beds are in a sunny spot. Due to our colder climate anything that likes a lot of sun is doomed. I've never managed zinnias and dahlias can be hit or miss but I do keep trying. Thanks for any ideas.

Watching:
We are East Central Scotland and I'm planning to convert one of my raised veg beds to a cut flower bed this year.
I've had success with:

  • sunflowers. Ignore the planting distance on the seed packet. They don't need that much space.
  • dahlias - although in pots covered in copper tape. I'm not sure they'd survive otherwise.
  • zinnia and cosmos
  • ammi
  • My local NTS property has a bank of cornflowers I tried to replicate with zero success.
  • Poppies are good (but I now have 1,000 tiny plants I suspect are poppies).
  • Try snapdragons - they too self seed wildly in my garden.
  • Sweetpeas. I've given up growing them from seed and just buy the seedlings from the garden centre for a few £ instead.
  • Not necessarily for cutting but I've grown lupins quite successfully.

I'm off to Google for more inspiration...
