I planted up a new border last year, mix of shrubs like Euonymous, grasses and perennials. It grew like mad and is all to close together so I have cut away about another 2 metres of lawn and its much better proportioned.
So now I need to move stuff around. I think I'm OK to move the shrubs and roses, but when should I move things like Salvia (Desert Blaze), ornamental grasses, lupins and the like ?
