To paint metal greenhouse frame?

Hi all

I got some hammerite in 'wild thyme' I love it, I got it to paint our upcycled bistro set, then I got thinking. We have a metal frame greenhouse, silver metal, would it be an absolute ball ache to paint it with this paint? Has anyone tried painting Thiers? I'd love one of those fancy greenhouses, green or wood but can't afford to so seeing if I can do a little hack haha

I thought about this but then read someone on line who did it and said it was a nightmare so decided to leave well alone.
