I had one last year with the name silver in it but can't remember full name, anyhow it was beautiful but can't remember as well if it was perennial or annual. Anyhow can anyone tell me a tree mallow that is perennial? Different info online so I'm not finding the answer I need

Thank you!

I've only ever seen Lavatera Barnsley as a tough as old boots perennial.

Almost impossible to kill, despite overenthusiastic pruning by husband, thank goodness.

There are other Lavateras with deeper pink flowers too, and they are basically rocket-proof, at least here in the North of England.

I've had lavateras in my garden since I moved in. I've tried to get rid of them several times, thinking I've got all the roots out, but within a year or so they are back as big as ever.

Thank you both! So confused what I'm reading online saying they're annuals, anyhow now I've seen this I'm going to make sure I get my hands on more :) thank you
