Moon gate thingy?

Garden is a blank canvas, am looking at making a tile path in the centre of the garden to a round/oval seating area. Would a moon gate jobby be a completely crap idea at the entrance of the patio? Garden is about 50ft wide 40ft long and overlooked on one side so looking to create more privacy along with some crab apple trees.

I think freestanding moon gates can look wrong; you need to 'anchor' it to the rest of the garden design.
Some look really effective if they frame a focal point.
Would the tile path be a straight line or a curve (echoing the gate and the patio).

It can look great if framed either side with a wall or planting. Something to obscure the view of the patio that the moongate is framing is important,l

I agree with @senua that those just plonked in the centre without something either side to give it context and framing just look weird.
