Advice for messy garden

Admittedly I have neglected my garden. Full time working and being a single mum with a child and dog takes up much of my time but its embarrassing to me now, and I don't even let anyone come to my house.

There is decking surrounding most of my garden that is 15+ years old and starting to decline badly. Lots breaking and very wobbly.

Weeds have took over around the side of my house and look very thorny etc.

There's general debris from bushes and trees etc that I can deal with and clear away but realistically what can I do about the decking as I don't have a huge amount of money to do a garden makeover.

I just want it looking presentable for visitors and safe for my dog and child to rum about in.
