Hello,

Are there any books any one would recommend in teaching how to propagate cuttings? I have zero knowledge but would like to multiply some of my roses.

Thank you

The Royal Horticultural Society website has lots of good information on all sorts of plant management, have a look and see if it gives you what you need. Or does your local library have any books on gardening, if you prefer to learn that way?

I taught myself using a combination of google and trial and error.

Roses are fairly easy to propagate but with most plants, it's also about taking cuttings at the right time.

I usually do this around spring and stick all sorts of cuttings into the edges of pots with compost in slightly shaded area and then hope for best.

I recently started following this account on Instagram and she has lots of propagating tips
