I have always used the Ken Muir website for fruit trees, strawberry plants, blackcurrant bushes etc, but this week the website has disappeared and nobody answers the phone. Does anyone know if they have gone out of business? TIA

It's still showing up as an active compliant but you're right, the website has gone and the last SM posts were 8 th June.

Looks like I’ll have to order my bareroot blackcurrants from somewhere else. It’s a bit annoying as I had some outstanding credit with them as well.

That's such a shame. I hope it wasn't a lot.

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto Only £10, but I always had really good service from them so I’m disappointed they’ve just disappeared.

Shame if he has. He was a pioneer for strawberries in the early days

For those that understand these things, Companies House shows two outstanding charges from Barclays Bank.

Ah I see. Yes they're clearly in trouble then. Such a shame.

Announcement now on their Facebook page to say they are closing down.

Worrying. A big established company with a good reputation. Who will be next?
