Anyone know how deep they grow? Can I plant against my house where my drainpipe goes into thr ground at a soakaway?

They do have deep tap roots apparently so probably best not to plant close to drains.

I've got them in a flower bed. Periodically I get sick of them, chop them down and dig out the roots, which are fairly deep. Within a couple of years they are back again. So no I wouldn't have them anywhere they can cause trouble
