Is it too early to plant tulip bulbs? I bought some but now worrying that it's too early as the weather is still so warm. Or perhaps it doesn't matter?

I normally wait until at least the first frost. If planting in the ground, I'd go ahead now and plant a big deeper. If they are going in a pot, I would keep them somewhere dark and dry for a bit.

I thought tulips were supposed to be planted in December to reduce disease

Thanks, I'll hold off a while.

November is generally recommended as late enough to reduce risk of disease but early enough to get them going for spring
