What is this plant please?

It has dark purple new growth which changes to green. White flowers throughout the summer.

What a great looking plant! The trumpet shaped flowers remind me of weigela. There are a few varieties with dark leaves and white flowers.

It seems to be Weigela ‘Black and White’. Very striking!

I've looked at Weigela and you're right.
It really is gorgeous and I'd like another one.

I’ve just bought one, not in flower, but it’s easy to take cuttings from non flowering branches. I’ve just taken a couple.
