What do I need to do to this plant?

This is an angel wings that I planted this year.

It grew like wildfire, but now looks a bit manky. I tried cutting off some of the mottled leaves, but I think it looks worse and patchy.

There are still new leaves coming.

What do I need to do. Thanks.

Looks fine and healthy to me. All plants lose some of their old leaves and grow new ones, so just cut off any that are definitely past their best.
