Grasshoppers

I live in a town in SE and have loads of grasshoppers - never had them before. Anyone else?

I've seen loads but it's the first year in our new garden so just assumed it was normal as never had a.garden with grass before

I'm in the South West, we've got loads everywhere this year too (and they are keeping the cat entertained!)

I'm in Dorset and been loads in my garden this year. Swarms at one point. its not usually like this

We're in SE London and have have found both crickets and grasshoppers in our kitchen this summer. There do seem to be a lot about this year!
