White flower for cottage border

Hi ai have a cottage style border in my garden. Pink Gaura (pink) Nepeta, agastache, and Verbena, I want to add in some white. I have a jasmine climber but still small and a white evergreen climber rose but can anyone recommend a tall ish white flower for a border that has a long flowering period? I was thinking phlox paniculata but not sure. Not foxgloves or delphinium never have luck with them

Achillea Ptarmica

Phlox don't flower for long though. I have Phlox 'Fujiama' in my white border and get maybe 3 weeks out of it.

i have anemone hermione jobert for a later flowing plant. Very robust and will spread.

Cosmos, dahlia, Ammi majus and giant snapdragons could be worth a shot. I also like white echinacea varieties.

Shasta daisies

White Campanula persicifolia, my blue one has been flowering for months.

Echinacea White Swan is a lovely one. I'd follow it with anemone Honorine Joubert to extend the flowering season. I've also got Lysimachia candela which flowers for a long time and bees love it - it needs to go closer to the front of the border though (mental note made to dig all mine up and replant in the spring!) The other beautiful white annual which is very easy to grow is Cosmos purity. Flowers for months if you deadhead.

honesty and sweet rocket are lovely - you can get white versions of both

The big white daisies. They are stunning.

White lychnis coronaris - my lychnis (various colours) have had a good long flowering season, I've deadheaded assiduously to keep them going.

I sowed seeds of white Lavatera this year, they’re easy to grow, tall and the flowers are bold.

White penstemon. Very long flowering season.
Antirrhinum flower all year.
Diascia for short plants that flower a long time.
Thalictrum.
Hydrangea.

White nemesis, they smell of vanilla too. Salvia mirage white flowers all summer and attracts bees. I’ve got a couple of other colours in that range and regret not getting the white because they are gorgeous

Leucanthemum are gorgeous. Mine have been flowering for ages.

White hardy geranium?

Erigeron Annuus is the tall version of the more common Erigeron karvinskianus. It has the same long flowering period and pure white flowers.

There is a white rose called Desdemona which flowers twice a season and would be stunning. In terms of other flowers that are white- I agree Phlox wouldn’t flower for very long. What about a white penstemon called Wedding Day.

White achillea, saxifraga, salvias, Mexican fleabane, scabiosa.
