Fragrant plants for a small west facing border

Hello, I’m redoing a small bed near some seating and wondered if anyone had any plant suggestions. It gets strong afternoon sun but mornings in the shade. It would be nice to have some very fragrant flowers in the summer when we sit out there. Oh and has to be dog friendly. Am quite stumped!

My current favourite in a similar situation is Gardenia Summer Snow.

Phlox smell beautiful, as do pinks (dianthus). Nicotiana smells lovely in the evenings.

Thank you. Is summer snow hardy do you know?

It's supposed to be hardy to -15 centigrade, but I haven't had it in temperatures that low yet, so cannot vouch for its hardiness.
