What are these insects?

Are they eating my dahlias?
I've also seen them on marigolds 😕

Some kind of grasshopper or cricket. I didn't think they were particularly troublesome to Dahlias but I am no expert on them.

Even if they are, I'm not sure what you can do about them.

Green bush cricket, probably. I’ve sometimes found them indoors!

I've never seen them before! Every time I look at my dahlias there's another one! Earlier there were 4
These were very expensive corms from farmer gracy, I don't want them eaten 😂
