Hello,
I have a mature cherry blossom tree in my garden. This is our first summer in this house and not had a cherry blossom tree before so not sure what's normal and what's not.
It blossomed in early May and was beautiful! The blossom disappeared around 2 weeks later, as expected. However, since then, the leaves have been dying off. I've pulled clumps of shrivelled brown ones off already but they keep appearing. I didn't expect this to happen until late September/early October.
Is there something wrong with our tree? We had it pruned about a month ago and the tree surgeon didn't mention disease, but I don't think the foliage should be dying off this early. I'm no expert though so could be wrong.
