Hello, I bought a few different plants early in the season and have this plant in a pot and I can't remember what it is. It looks like it's about to flower and I would like to make sure I'm taking care of it properly. any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Oh and the leaves come in smooth and change shape as they get bigger. It's needing watered in the pic. Perked up now.

Yellow fleabane is what my phone says it is! 🤷🏼‍♀️

It looks a bit like knautia Macedonia. It grows maroon or can be pastel coloured flowers and after they’ve finished, you get a green pom pom. Self seeds everywhere!

Verbascum I think.

I'd go with knautia too, or possibly cirsium.

It looks like a scabious, I thought at first the big yellow one Cephalaria gigantea. As I thought it looks a bit large for either Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis) or Knautia macedonica, but, looking again, and noticing the Lobelia, it could be either of the Knautias.

Not Cirsium (Thistle) - no prickles, and wrong leaf for the spine-free Melancholy Thistle.

Yellow Fleabane, Ergeron linearis, doesn't have lobed leaves, neither does Verbascum
