IIex spiral help please.

I went to Dobbies yesterday and they had two IIex spiral reduced to £50. Always wanted a spiral but didn’t want to spend the money and have it eaten by caterpillars. So was really happy to find this one.

it is huge and needs some love and care. But it’s the pot I am wondering about. I don’t know if I should re pot it now, leave it till spring or is it okay for now. I have attached a picture for u to see.

Ok to repot now, there’s still growing time in the season. You’ll see whether you need to once you get it out of the pot. Assume the fertiliser in the compost will last 6 weeks. Afterwards, a general purpose fertiliser is fine, you might find slow release pellets are less trouble. If it’s a female and you’re hoping for berries, try tomato fertiliser instead
